However this was not really the case. No signage to direct the Express Pass holders v.s. the regular and when we approached staff they were like Oh an express pass wait here. I would go back as it's a great building with great views, but wait in line like every one. Take the money that would have been spent on an express pass and go to Joe's Pizza.

You can check in and pick up your room key/Express pass as early as 6:00 am. The Express and Early Entry perks will work even if your room isn’t ready yet.
These passes allow you to miss the lines for the tickets, security and the elevator (from memory there are two of these). They also allow you to miss the line for the elevator going down. We love the ESB as you can see the Chrysler Building from it, and it's closer to the downtown skyscrapers. And it's the iconic one.
