I have used the 'check status tool' link on the approval e-mail but it keeps returning 'no match found' I know for a fact all details are correct on the application and it was the official gov website (cost $7)and I even did one application again just to double DOUBLE check everything was correct but still no match found.

1. Re: eTA tool check found no matches even with approved eTA. I also had this problem. However when they ask if you can fill in your 'issue date' and 'expire date', you need to fill in your issue date and expire date that is stated on your passport. I filled in the issue and expire date of the ETA. MAybe you also made this mistake.
