I recently have been looking for a rental with unlimited miles myself. Some car rentals like avis and budget advertise unlimited miles, but read the fine print. They often limit the so called "unlimited miles" to only a handful of states, with a 25 - 35 cent/mile surcharge for any miles outside of those states.
There are variations, whether they be through the company or the location. We've rented vehicles in several states with no restrictions. However, we once rented a car in Florida from Hertz, and got charged mileage for going into the neighbouring state of Georgia.
1) If your local you can only get 150 miles. 2) You cannot go out of state. 3) you must have a recent utility bill on hand. Why would i book a Car to travel out of state for unlimited miles under these conditions. It really wasn't the car companies problem this is there rules and i respect that.
No such thing. Only option is if you have an account with Hertz/Avis (created internationally) and under a plan e.g. corporate or private (example via AMEX Platinum), you can get something like this.
