I have exchanged currency already but thought I would send a VISA pre-paid--gift card with him in case he need more money. He does NOT have a reg credit card--only Japanese currency.

I'm considering taking a Visa Debit Gift Card to Paris next week to allivate the need to take lots of cash. Both my ATM and Credit cards charge "junk" fees to withdraw money and charge overseas. Even though the fine print on the debit gift card says it can be used worldwide, I just want to see if that is true in Paris.
