This is a far superior tips guide than many others I've seen with respect to the nyc subway system. The photos are a tremendous help. Question: in your guide you say that, "the machines offer and advertise a combined ticket for $7.25 that includes a single-use for the subway, but it is not worth it to buy."
But for beginner lessons on Oahu, it's hard to beat their rate of $35. If you're a more advanced surfer looking to progress, go elsewhere, unless the surf is up. But during the winter months this is a friendly, mellow break that feels way off the beaten path.
