Try outside of USA by changing location. Check that your bank hasn't blocked transactions to Vietnam. Make sure you have the correct Vietnam Airlines site and it must show "portal" in a google listing. Mostly it is site breakdown but the above are the reported reasons. Cheers Ross.
24 helpful votes. 2. Re: What Cards to use. Jul 18, 2023, 6:24 AM. We use 28 degrees credit card with no international fees for hotels or bigger purchases but there are other cards out there without fees. All other purchases we take Australian dollars from home and exchange in Vietnam.

Re: Using Visa card in Vietnam. 14 years ago. i always take my visa credit card and use it in heaps of places. obviously not everywhere takes cc but, i couldn't say i've had any sort of problem. you must take cash as well, for those places which don't accept it.

I also believe you can have a gift sent to Vietnam through Amazon.com, but I don't have personal experience. I would not send it through the post office.

I am the holder of the credit card which was used for the transaction and I am a passenger who will be flying on this reservation.
You need to write their name and address as it is shown on their ID card. In Australia it cost $4 to send amounts under $200 at the post office but it is $10 if you do it with a credit card online. If you are doing it regularly,ask for a WU Gold Card or a Gold Card number. This means you dont have to fill in your name and address every time
