   Depends on the company and the terms of the rental. Under some there is a 'drop off' fee, which can be as high as $125. Others no fee, but the weekly rate is higher. Most of the large companies [I use Hertz] have free drop-off within the state of FL and I do it often. The low priced folks may well have the drop-off fee.

Considering using fox rental cars as the mini van would be about $310 for 9 days (pick up in Tampa, return to Orlando ).....compared to like $900 with all the other companies. Just nervous with the huge price difference (but if legit it would save money to use on the other big parts of the trip).

On dropping off, the reverse is in order. Drop the car, catch the monorail back to the main airport and proceed to the departing airside.
