Yes, the Auto Club has discounts but they're so ridiculously bad they're barely worth the hassle unless you have a big family and are staying several days. If you buy a two-day ticket at an Auto Club office you save $6.00 off the price you would pay at Disneyland. The discount gets slightly better if you buy three or four days but not by much.

I just priced out a November vacation to Disneyland for 2. Costco was $3290, staying at Courtyard by Marriott. Alaska Air Vacations was $3191, and "on my own" was $3320. I used HoJo for Alaska Air and OMO. With Alaska Air, it said run of the house for the room, and did not allow me to pick a specific room class.
