I presented my internet Hertz reservation contract which cost only $220 and they would not honor it because it was Easter Weekend. They refused to give me that price and instead said I would have to pay $800.
Just got back from Fort Lauderdale. I rented a car from Hertz rental car in the airport at Fort Lauderdale. The people working behind the counter and check in with a very rude. When we returned our car there was approximately 35 to 40 cars that were in front of us waiting to be checked in. We had to wait 40 minutes to check a vehicle in.

1. Re: Hertz at Fort Lauderdale airport? You can walk across the bridge of you are in that terminal which I believe is Terminal 1. Otherwise, there is a rental car shuttle that picks up folks outside of the terminals and drives you over. Have rented there twice in the last 6 months without issues.
