I have a few reservations with different companies. I’ll be canceling and let one or two remain. Right now I have enterprise $590; and thrifty $400; and Avis $600.
I got the breakdown of my toll charges from Budget. Budget charges you $5.95 a day convenience charge for every day you actually have a toll up to a maximum of $29.75 for the entire rental period. They also charge you for the actual tolls. Budget charged me for 4 days at $23.80. The tolls were about $21.

I always use National when I'm in Puerto Rico. I've used AVIS and Hertz in the past too. I have always had excellent service from them, that's why I always go back. The others are good too, but I like National the best. By the way, the Emerald Club is free, you just sign up and create a profile.

1 year ago. Just got back from first visit to Puerto Rico. After reading many of the rental car threads before I went, thought I'd throw in my two cents worth of experience for my group of six. Vieques - rented from Maritzas Car Rental. Everything went well. Vehicle clean and no bug problems.
