Moncurian is 100 %correct here, Hertz does include the liability and the amex or another other card cover collision. So if you are in an accident the liability Hertz provides is sufficient . That said, if relying on credit car cover, do recheck the terms — and note that some bank cards have dropped coverage in the last 2 years. Report inappropriate content.
Through my Amex card I got "President's Circle" status at Hertz. But I don't have much experience as a Hertz customer. I'm trying to decide between Hertz and Alamo. On rentcars.com I got a very good deal with Alamo for a Full Size SUV. On there Hertz website I got a Minivan reservation for a little bit less than the deal with Alamo.
