American Automobile Association ( AAA – commonly pronounced as " Triple A " but also pronounced as individual letters) is a federation of motor clubs throughout North America. AAA is a privately held not-for-profit national member association and service organization with over 60 million members [1] in the United States and Canada. [2]
There are 30 stadiums in use by Triple-A Minor League Baseball teams, which are the top affiliates of Major League Baseball clubs. The International League uses 20 stadiums, and the Pacific Coast League uses 10. The oldest stadium among these teams is Cheney Stadium, home of the Pacific Coast League's Tacoma Rainiers, which opened in 1960.
There are 14 Minor League Baseball (MiLB) leagues and 206 teams in operation across the United States, Dominican Republic, and Canada, which are affiliated with Major League Baseball (MLB) teams. They are organized by one of five classes (from highest to lowest): Triple-A, Double-A, High-A, Single-A, and Rookie.
1. Re: AAA books, maps and travel tics. 11 years ago. Yes, AAA still offer a wealth of maps, directories, trip itineraries and such like for travellers around the USA. They still have offices in many towns around the country with staff who are happy to discuss travel plans and offer advice, or just simply dig out the documents from drawers.
5. Re: AAA services for trip planning and reservations. AAA for car rental does not always offer the best deals so shopping around is a good idea. The hotel sites that offer AAA discounts have a place where you select AAA rate which is about 15% when booking online or will give the discount when showing up on the day.
4. Re: Foldable street/state maps. AAA maps are great for interstates and larger state highways. They usually have blown up cities for better detail. I usually pick up AAA maps when I am doing a road trip. If you will be taking back roads or want a lot of detail, I recommend DeLorme Atlas' for each state you visit.

1. Re: Map recommendations for CA/UT/NV/AZ. 10 years ago. One of the better maps for the Grand Circle (Zion, GC etc) is the Auto Club AAA Indian Country Map. AAA also has good maps for many other places. Not sure if you can get them via your auto club though. It should be available at places like Amazon.
