10 years ago. I am pretty sure you should be able to check-in online provided you go to the operating carrier's website with the right PNR. Seat reservation though is subject to the airline's policy. In BA's case, unless you have status with BA or Oneworld, if you don't pay, you don't get to reserve a seat.

HA won't let you check in for their flight because it's the second in the itinerary. They are expecting you to check in for Jet Blue first.

Answer 11 of 12: I'm trying to do the web check in, and I'm within 24 hours. The website says I'm checking in to early, and lists the time of tomorrow's flight as the earliest time I can check in today.
