I've been looking for a car rental place in IAD (Washington Dulles) in July. kAlmost every single site has min-priced cars @ about $33 a day, but for some reason, Kayak.com has some cars at $15 a day.

It shows prices on various web sites side by side but you actually rent the car through which ever other web site you choose. I use it to see possible prices and then book through one of the car web sites that seem reasonable.

However time pressures sometimes means it’s easier to see the sort of prices on offer on an aggregator site rather than traveling through each supplier individually. I’ve learned a lesson though.    During the reservation I was told the reservation fee will be deducted from the total sum upon returning the car. However, i was not refunded, instead vipcars gave me an excuse that it was a booking fee. EURO 74 for 10 days car rental in NZ is very costly. They should have clearly indicated that its non refundable.
