I bought travel insurance via DBS Travel Insurance and have just made a claim on overseas medical expense of SGD68 to Chubb online. Processing was very fast - submitted claim online on 18Jan 2019 and received payment on 22 Jan 2019 with no fuss. Chubb has better coverage than most of other travel insurance but you need to be hospitalised before you can claim from them. The call centre is managed by a bunch of "foreign talent" who are incapable to understand the situation.
Potential customers of CHUBB Singapore insurance company beware and be careful of this insurance company deceitful ways and UNFAIR practice. Do not buy from them. I bought a annual travel policy via a Amex-Chubb partnership. This has been to my eternal regret. I have never experienced such issues with the other insurance agents.
Unfortunately only after purchase I realized its under Chubb. Worse, under that travel insurance, I experienced a flight delay for 24 hours. Its a straightforward claim, that's what I thought. After waiting for more than 2 weeks, still not reply from the company at all! It is the worst travel insurance company I've encountered.
