I have no experience with priceline.com for renting cars, but I did use orbitz.com to rent a vehicle for my upcoming Yellowstone trip. I was able to get a car, minivan actually, for 8 days with unlimited miles for $260.25. That is renting from Billings, MT though. So these scammers you speak about who charged you $128 extra, is the rental car agency if this was a pre-paid rental.
