   When you compare Avis with other car rental agencies at the airport such as thrifty and budget, there is no comparison. If you want to wait 2 hours to receive your car go with budget and thrifty, if you want to get out of there in 10 or 15 minutes go with Avis. We're not ready for anyone else in Denver. 4.

   1. Re: Avis or Hertz at Denver Airport. 9 years ago. Rental cars are about a 10-15 minute shuttle. Just go out either side of the terminal to the rental car shuttle island. Both Hertz and Avis are fine. Personally, I prefer Avis. Have fun. Report inappropriate content.

With all due respect, while understanding the technical difference between on-site and off-site, there are few airports in America where the primary car rental pickup locations are as far from the terminal as they are in Denver.

Taking the airport shuttle from the hotel to the airport then the car rental shuttle will be free, but more time consuming than uber or taxi. Probably need to reserve a seat on the shuttle from the hotel to the airport to make sure you get on. I would guess the shuttle rides and ...
