8 years ago. Even if the car rental is cancellable, I would think if you purchased a bundled package from Expedia and you try to cancel the car, that they will cancel the whole package. Usually bundles are at a bundle price and you can't unbundle them. I think you'll have to re-book the flight and the price of the flight might go up.

It's usually better to book with the airline, but if there is a significant saving with Expedia, it may be worth it.. Re: Rent a car from Expedia or direct from Avis etc ? Always book direct. Especially with cars in such short supply. If you show up at the Hertz counter with a Hertz reservation you will get better help if there is a problem, than if you book through a third party and have to track down Expedia in a hurry.
