   2 reviews. Do not rent from Payless Rent a Car…. 2 years ago. Do not ever rent from this company. They are awful. Disgraceful customer service. If your car breaks down you are absolutely screwed. Especially in Maui. They are an absolute scam and put our lives in danger.

   Ripped off by customer service agent. Had a standard vehicle rented for $38 a day. Customer service rep offered an upgrade for $40 a day. Never said it was an extra $40 a day for a different standard vehicle. Charged $662 when it should have been $371. Found out service reps get commission on up-sales. Will never trust again.
