15 years ago. Thanks to a tip on Mousesavers for rental car codes, I stumbled on a Walmart coupon code for Budget. Mousesavers said the code is for Walmart customers (ie everyone) and didn't list any other stipulations. Anyhow, without the code, total cost for an intermediate car is $269. With the Walmart code, the cost is an amazing $155.
29. Re: Rental car discount codes and lowest prices. 9 years ago. We will be in Maui from 12/26 through 1/2, and I just switched from a $482 Nissan Sentra for the week from DHCR, to a $231 Ford EDGE from Costco. It pays to keep checking! (Both of these reservations were from Budget).

-Hawaiian airlines discount with Avis: K816401 (This one tends to be the cheapest)-Island air discount with Budget: U030087-Other rental car options include Discount hawaii car rental, Adventures rent-a-jeep (used cheap 4x4s), Costco, Priceline and Expedia. I'm sure there are lots more options, but found these to be the best.
Currently there is a $20.00 off code for 3 nights, and when you use your alamo insiders code you get an additional 10% off. The advantage to Costco is that it includes a second driver for free. I just plugged your dates in with those codes - Corp. Code 7014627, Insiders Rental ID, Coupon Code AD8Z59SDZ - total including all taxes, etc. $59.95 ...
