For picking up car rentals at MCO, for car companies such as Alamo or Dollar, are they located onsite, i.e. walk to cars, or do we need to take a shuttle to the car rental companies off site locaiton or to a car rental center? Just to clarify: everybody arriving at and exiting Orlando Int rides a monorail to the main terminal; it's not specific to any airline or car rental. Alamo is in the main building as is just about everything else. The pick up location is 100 yards from the desk in the building.
I've used Alamo quite a few times. Usually when booking through an airline bundle. The car selection at the major airports have been pretty good. I was upgraded at Sanford/Orlando airport once to a BMW X5 when our plane had a delay and arrived at 1:00 AM and they didn't have the tier I chose.
