The offers where the company was not named seemed cheap, but I could see by reading the details that the unnamed rental car company was off the airport property and that generally includes only the shoddiest off the shoddy rental car companies. I would consider Priceline for a big discount, but not just to save a few bucks.

Hi! We are going to rent a car for two days to go from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon.. Reviewing the prices I see that when making the reservation directly in Avis it comes out for 397 dollars: 218 of the car, 89 of LDW and ALI (insurance) and 80 of taxes, while in Priceline for the same car for the same date it gives a total price of 203, indicates that this includes taxes and the two insurances.

Yes, I have. And when you bid, Priceline only uses the top 5-6 rental companies; they do not use all that are listed on their site for your "bidding". I usually have a rental car booked with codes I've acquired. I have used Priceline as the date of my trip neared and bid low. However, more often than not, with codes and checking frequently as ...

We booked a budget rental for 7 days a car for 29$ a night for rav 4 (ended up with a Hyundai. ). Total was about 179$ (Lots of fees and taxes). Total was about 179$ (Lots of fees and taxes). I found out later that in Nevada most insurances, we have progressive, won't cover LOSS OF USE.
