Your McAfee software starts monitoring your computer for activity. If no keyboard or mouse activity occurs for 10 minutes, your McAfee software then monitors for CPU use. If CPU use remains under 10% for 10 seconds, the scheduled scan begins. For more details, check the McAfee help page on how scheduled scans work.
Uninstall McAfee from your windows PC. Open Control Panel. Locate Programs | click on Uninstall a program. Locate and click on McAfee. Above the program list, click Uninstall/Change. VirusTotal's Windows Uploader [10] is a discontinued desktop application which integrates into File Explorer's context menu, under Send To > VirusTotal.
