4 years ago. In normal circumstances when a flight is cancelled passengers are automatically rebooked onto the next flight with available seats, and this may have happened already in your case. You should be able to see your booking on the airline's web site, providing you have the PNR (booking reference).
If so then call your card issuer and dispute the charge. Make sure you dispute the right charge, the one for the ticket you haven't got. If you didn't use a credit card (and the words about "bank account" don't look promising) then get one sharpish.
