Certainly agree about Costco but at least for me from the Bay Area, I can always buy my own airfare cheaper then Costco. I simply use them for the land and car package. In it's day, AAA use to be the go-to place for travel.
We booked a 5 night stay at the Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber hotel thru Costco travel and all aspects of the Costco package was great. We upgraded our room to a Deluxe Ocean view and our room was on the 21st floor and faced Waikiki beach. The room was clean and was big enough for two people. Katrina at the front desk was so welcoming and helpful.

I went to Honolulu last weekend with a package through Northwest Airlines and they used Aloha VIP transportation. They had a lei greeting at the gate (a person was holding a "Northwest/Aloha VIP" sign at the gate) and that person then took us to baggage claim.
There are properties Costco Travel offers in Hawaii who do not charge resort fees, there are also properties we offer which offer Resort Credits to offset that added cost. For the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani, there is a resort fee of $17per night per room - plus tax. Tax is approx. 5% in Hawaii. If there is a resort fee applicable, Costco Travel ...

Answer 1 of 17: Booking a last minute trip for next week to Oahu with my two college kids. I've never used Costco, but it seems like the way to go given the quick booking and their packages look fairly reasonable.
