In Australia we have some fantastic Italian restaurants who would never consider serving such a thing however a popular dish elsewhere is the veal or chicken parmigiana (or locally known as the parma). Breaded veal or chicken, usually chicken, topped with ham, tomato sauce and mozzarella and then put under a grill. Usually served with a salad.
