   Well, there's no labor involved - they slide right out, takes all of about 3 minutes. I understand the point about storage and tracking, but there are several companies who will remove the back seats on the big 15-passenger vans (and those don't simply slide out), so there must be a standard way to deal with storing and tracking them . . .

"seats 7" - really?? there are only 7 sets of seat belts so 7 seater. if you have 2 drivers - 2 mid size cars is more than half the price of a 12-15 seat van and the extra insurance is covered if you have a premium credit card and not covered with a large van.

   1. Re: 10 to 12 passengers van rental. Nowhere. The normal rental van have at max. 9 seats. With a normal car driver license you're only allowed to drive with 8 others. Another problem is that the available 9 seater mini van models will seat 9 (driver + 8 others), but won't have the space for the luggage of 9 persons.

   11 years ago. Save. Just spoke to Transport Dept of Ontario and they confirmed we cannot drive 12/15 seater van with a basic license from US since it requires Class-F type which is equivalent to Commercial type here in US.. Report inappropriate content. flyinmom. Toronto, Ontario.
