I (we) have purchased medications (prescription and counter, and pharmacy-related products) at several farmacias in Vallarta -- within the Mega Supermercado (Hotel Zone), the one located at CMQ Hospital, Farmacia Guadalajara, and Farmacia Olas Altas (all located in the city’s south side).
9. Re: Best deal at pharmacy. 3 years ago. I love riding the buses in PV, so heading out to Walmart is no big deal. I take a heart med, Eliquis, which is $526 for a 30 days supply, (60, 5mg tablets). It is $46 for a 30-day supply at Walmart. AND, if I buy 3, they throw in an extra one.
9. Re: Cheap Pharmacy. 7 years ago. There are little clinics next door to all the Similares pharmacy, those are generic pharmacies. I've seen their sign and heard they are super cheap, like maybe $5 to see the doctor. As far as I know the only medicines you will need a script for are pain killers and antibiotics.
