A more polite and helpful reply to my e mail would have been, " good news, there is a limit on the amount they charge" .

   I’m still here in Maui and I’m on car #3 already. I can’t even tell you how much vacation time I’ve wasted in the phone with their support and roadside assistance. Car #1 was a convertible Camaro. Very beat up on the outside but drove fine. The big issues were the check engine light coming on for low brake fluid.

   Has anyone rented a car recently from Buget Car Rental location at the Las Vegas AIrport Rental Center.. They have the best rates but reviews are just so bad. I'm thinking to make a second reservation with another rental company in case i get there and the budget line is crazy long or they try tacking on additonal fees as others have posted in reviews.

   Often times you will get free upgrades if the class of car isn't available. During busy times this is very common. I once reserved a compact car in Dallas and had my choice between a 16 passenger van or a Mercedes. Obviously I took the mercedes for the price of a compact. The best odds of getting a free upgrade is arriving late.
