   I am living back in Lake Louise now and I prefer to go into the larger Safeway and Sobeys in Canmore. They are located practically in the same shopping area on one of the main roads, Railway avenue. It is just 15 minutes east of downtown Banff. There is also Nutters just to the right of Sobeys in and adjacent parking lot.
