Re: Purchasing Groceries in Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper. 13 years ago. Jasper has two medium-sized grocery stores: Robinson's Foods, and Super A. There is also a large IGA in Hinton - I prefer it over Safeway... I think the prices are better in general, but I do occasionally shop the sales at both of them.
Driving from the airport in direction Banff you take 16th Avenue. otherwise known as the Trans Canada Highway. After crossing 14th Str., you'll see the North Hill Shopping Centre on your left, where you'll find a Safeway supermarket. Other supermarkets brands are f.i. IGA, Extra Foods, Save on Foods.
