Turn on the "no toll road" option on your phone and Google maps. Just stay on the 5 Freeway until you see the signs for Coast Hwy.

    A must do for the view! Jun 2021. Take the Mesa trail for a scenic hike with a fantastic view from Observation Point. The full trail (up and back) is no joke, but doable for our group of nine (ages 14-55). We hit the trail around 9am and although parking was challenging, conditions weren’t crowded on the trail.

If you do go into PR stop at the Brickmaiden for delicious scones and coffee or Tobeys. From Point Reyes travel North on Hwy 1 and stop at either the Marshall Store or Nick’s Cove for a late lunch.
