Re: email from gmail - accessing from another country. 9 years ago. Another option, if you are being blocked by location, is to set up VPN access to a US based server. You may even be able to set it up to VPN into your home network - if you have a router that supports it. That can be somewhat tricky though.
I don't get any of the MyVegas emails, but my wife does. Most rewards you don't need the email, just your 'wallet' on your phone to show the desk. If I do need the email, I just have her get the same reward to get the 'link' in the email, click it and change the redemption code to mine instead of hers.
Open Desktop Gold. Log in using your username and password. Click on Settings . On the General tab click on the Make Default buttons to make AOL Desktop Gold your default browser and/or email client. A new window opens up. From the Default apps tab go to the Web Browser or to the Email section and select AOL Desktop Gold from the drop-down menu.
