Like Teri said, Alamo has a location near Ka'anapali, along with Enterprise, Avis, Budget... That Kapalua Airport (JHM) location has limited hours on weekends (9AM-1PM) and shorter M-F hours compared to OGG. Pre-Covid, we needed to return our Alamo rental on a Saturday afternoon. We were able to return it at the Sheraton Black Rock.

Yes you can walk to the counter in about 5-7 min or cross the road in front of the terminal and jump on a tram. They run every few min. Alamo has the option of inputting your information on line which can speed up the process. 3.

Reviewed June 8, 2009. Alamo Car Rental - Honolulu, Hawaii. Though the car worked fine and we got our convertible as requested, what we didn't know was you could be charged up to $100.00 for cleaning fees. When we returned the car, gas filled, no damage, we were advised that we should have vacuumed the sand out.

It is very easy to drive back to baggage claim and pick up the other person with the bags. There is a sidewalk to the left of the parking lot. And a cross walk.
