Thanks that is what my husband said about the AAA lady. I think I will go with Travel Guard. With Costco, 80% of the cost is refundable for any reason through the end of June. We would have to pay $250 per person for flight cancellation. If someone from our party is sick and we need to cancel that is where the trip insurance would come in handy.

The balance is due 3/9/16. My daughter-in-law now cannot travel for medical reasons and is waiting to get a Doctor's note and we will see if we get the deposit back for their part of the trip. I called Costco and they charge a $200 per person cancellation fee. So if travel insurance refunds my deposit I will still lose $600.
