Allianz vs. Travel Guard. 2 years ago. I have had policies with both and have felt good about coverages on both. Just bought Travelguard for a trip to BI next summer. Had 2 claims prior to Covid with Travelguard and was satisfied. Probably will come down to your individual level with their coverages. Report inappropriate content.

The travel company never followed up with us and the insurance company took over 6 months to reimburse us after making sure we had no other insurance to cover it. They were impossible to contact to find out our status. I am look for another travel company AND insurance company for my next trip!!!!

We booked a family trip to Cozumel for April 2016 and purchased the insurance (Travel Guard) through Costco. The balance is due 3/9/16. My daughter-in-law now cannot travel for medical reasons and is waiting to get a Doctor's note and we will see if we get the deposit back for their part of the trip.
