We booked a family trip to Cozumel for April 2016 and purchased the insurance (Travel Guard) through Costco. The balance is due 3/9/16. My daughter-in-law now cannot travel for medical reasons and is waiting to get a Doctor's note and we will see if we get the deposit back for their part of the trip.

The main thing you need to do is read the fine print on what is covered and coverage Limits. A lot of employers inusrance from the USA will not cover you outside the US.
