Thanks. It appears there's no AAA discount on Hertz right now except for weekend and weekly rentals (I'm renting for 4 weekdays). Hertz has a 25% off discount coupon code, but it only allows one CDP code, so it won't let me enter my AAA information to get the free second driver.

Ok I will probably book through Hertz europe website using AAA coupon, which waves underage fee, but it says CDW and LDW is included and some additional insurance, but the terms and conditions are only some general USA conditions and its pretty complicated.
13 reviews. 35 helpful votes. 1. Re: car rental AAA membership. 10 years ago. My experience is about 50/50.....and Hertz definitely checks. You can usually get almost as good a discount from an airline frequent flier membership which are free to join online. Report inappropriate content.
4. Re: Using AAA to book rental car through Hertz. You need liability insurance and insurance on the vehicle itself. You'll purchase liability through your car rental company (that's required), but this AAA insurance may cover the vehicle. The only way to know for sure is to contact Hertz directly though.
I just booked our rental car for our July 2016 2-week trip to Irelan. I wanted to pass along a few ways to get discounts. We are AAA members and our AAA discount was able to get us a 10% discount for a 13 day rental. When you book your car, use your AAA CDP code in the CDP# field or tell the agent that you are AAA.
