Now I cannot speak for Canadian AAA membership, but I know that I could save at least 10% on a posted rate. But, and there is a catch! You must watch carefully that they do not apply this savings to a "market" rate.

When you step outside the doors from the car rental counters (level 1 of the terminal) there's a narrow oneway street that runs between there and the parking garage.

   Alamo seem to us to be the slowest and have the longest queues.In the past we have stood in line for up to an hour.They never seem to have more than one or two people serving. Very frustrating. It also will depend on how many international flights have landed when you get to the counter.
