5. Re: Hertz Gold membership question. 6 years ago. No, you need to have the GR number on the reservation to qualify for the service, which basically means they pre- allocate a car to you which you can just go to the garage and drive off in, depending on the location arrangements.

If you are a gold club member, you *should* get an email close to your arrival time that gives you the stall location of your car. You just go to it and get in and go - they will check your id and give you your paperwork as you leave the lot.
