2. Re: Wal Mart or grocery store near airport. 6 years ago. Vons right on the corner of Tropicana and Maryland is the closest regular grocery store coming out of the airport. Your driver will know where it is and know its the closest store whcih is only about a 1/2 mile off of your route to the Strip if that is where you are going, you dont say.
There are grocery stores in Mesquite, St George and Hurricane. There are Wal Marts with groceries and other supplies like coolers,in Mesquite, St George and closest to Zion in Hurricane. There is a grocery store in Springdale, just outside the park but it can be pricey. If you are doing a Grand Circle,grocery stores become more scarce beyond Zion.
Vote. the bayliner diner within the resort sells a few snacks, crisps, sweets, bottled drinks and also milk. but you will need a car to go to a supermarket. Wal-Mart is the closest between 5 - 10 mins drive. off turkey lake road. for drinks within the hotel get the refillable drinks cup from the diner, will save you loads.
Yes there are some shops/stores nearby. There is a large supermarket 10 min walk up the road, however, if you are buying lots, best get a taxi/cab back. There is also a Walmart but it is further away. The on site store is fine if you don't need a lot. Remember there is also the on site Starbucks which my husband frequented every day.
