9 years ago. I am mapping out a massive USA Road Trip and had my route drive times on the website: roadtrippers.com. A couple times seems 'long' to me so I went to google maps & all times were significantly shorter (yippee!). Went to mapquest.com & times were similar to Google Maps BU each leg of trip was 15-30 minutes longer on mapquest.
Re: googlemaps vs roadtrippers. I just did a route comparison for Google Maps & Roadtrippers using Anchorage to Seward (127 miles). Google Maps a duration of 2:31 while Roadtrippers was 3:43. Google maps is a straight comparison of if you drive the posted speed limit for the route given (no allowance for current construction, traffic, etc.)
