It's crazy busy on Friday nights. Many people say they stood in line for a long time and didn't get to see much. Buy a membership or just pay regular price if you actually want to enjoy the art. But if you are not at all into modern or contemporaray art and design, I guess the crowds won't bother you too much.

There is no reason to drive 300km to the Algarve region and 300km back to Lisbon to spend one day on a beach. It is not worth the time, effort or cost.
