Can I use toll free phone US phone numbers (1-800, 1-888, etc.) when traveling in Europe? We may never need to, but I want to know how to access customer service (for our bank, car rental, etc.) if problems arise when traveling. I have asked them directly, but the customer service people seem confused by my question.
