They plan to close all of them in or by October. Right now the entire store is 20-40% off and everything is final sale. So go there to get jackets and clothes for men and kids.
The Garment District runs from around 34-40 streets, Broadway to 8th Avenue. If you're just shopping for clothes, you want to go to a shopping area like 5th or 6th Avenues between 14th and 23rd Streets. Loehmann's. Loehmann's was an American retail company which started as a single store in Brooklyn, New York and grew to a chain of off-price department stores in the United States. Just go to Daffy's (few locations in the city), Century 21 (some expensive items there too, but yet VERY discounted) and Loahmans (also can be more expensive). If you're there at times those stores are having sales (ON TOP of the fact that they sell designer nice clothes for half the price), you can buy italian and high end labels for under 30 ...
