I got an email from two of the larger cabin agents telling me that there was a 50% off deal. I went to both of the sites. A one bedroom cabin that usually rented for 130.00 bucks was priced at 260.00, same at both places.

The reason to prepay a rental is that it is rather cheaper to do it that way, not to negate them authorising a deposit on your card for security. If you return a rental car without a full tank then yes you will be stung, around €150 seems the rate at the moment.

   Never again or recommend Sixt Car Rental. Rented for 3 days and returned as agreed and the total amount of was charged to credit card. One month later my credit card was charged $159.36 for Tolls (Administration fee 85.00, Tools 46.84 Subtotal $131.84 plus 37.52 taxes).

   On day 3 of a week Hawaii vacation at a restaurant location, the rental car from Sixt did not start. After contacting the office, another car and tow truck was sent to site. Some time later after the Hawaii vacation was over, I received a towing bill($600+ for 35 mile tow).
