The sunsets are lovely on the lake and there is a huge 3 story observation tower right at the boat ramp to take great pics from. There is a park store at the boat ramp, however it is closed right now for renovations...I imagine that when the store is up and running it really adds to the appeal of this park.
I recently tried this restaurant amid social distancing. It's on Lake Conroe with ample outside patio dining for gorgeous lake views while eating. The visit was midweek for a late dinner. The food and drinks were fantastic! Highly recommend the Rockafella Style oysters (roughly 20 dollar ish). The service was seamless and fast.
