1. Re: Grocery store locations. 7 years ago. Food City on hwy 321/Eastern Parkway. Hwy 441 and Hwy 321 run together into Gatlinburg from Pigeon Forge. Hwy 321 splits off to the left. Follow it out and Food City is located on the left at traffic light #2. There are several stores in Pigeon Forge too.

If you take the back roads from Veterans to Jayell to 416 to 454 to Glades Road (Arts and Craft Community) to hwy 321, you will go right by the Food City in Gatlinburg. The route ...

They also have a very good hot food bar where you can get family packs or dinners to go. They have pizza and deli sandwiches as well.
I fourth it. Be sure to get the discount card. For a tourist area the prices are not all that bad. Some are actually the same as at home. They have a really good stock of just about anything.

We have booked a condo in Gatlinburg for 1 week (the last week of May) and wondered where the best place is to shop for groceries. We understand that Food City is big there but that the only way you can get their shopper discount card is on line, which takes 4 weeks.

Thier is also a new grocery store in Gatlinburg called Save-A-Lot which has good prices. It is near the entrance to the Arts and Crafts Community. If you really want to same some money on munchies and stuff go to the Big-Lots in Sevierville!
