Go to https://flightaware.com and ensure you’re logged in. Select “My ADS-B” in the top bar. If you have more than one feeding site, select the site you want to upgrade in the orange bar dropdown. Click on the cogweel on the right side of the orange bar. Under “Device Commands”, select “Upgrade and restart PiAware”.

I know that a couple years ago, FlightAware got rid of the 5-minute delay on the map and it’s delayed by most 30 seconds, but it seems this is still not the case. Compared to FlightRadar24, their position looks like it’s more in real-time and live than FlightAware. They do movement prediction, which can be inaccurate.

Was receiving about 100 planes at a time, and about 2000-2500 planes per day.

I just rebuilt the system because I had a near lightning strike and the SD card got corrupted.
I’ve gone into my stats page and notice that I have a message that an update is available to go from 7.1 to 8.2. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to update when click on the upgrade and reboot button. I have for some time modified my own web interface for dump1090-fa. This was mainly to have better performance in the browser when using the function “Show All Tracks” and zooming or moving the map while all tracks are showing.
