There is no discrepancy so the disney verification issue cld possibly be specific to the US address and postal code. In our country, its 6digit.
You can combine the balance of gift cards on the website. It generally works well, but make sure the balance transfers after each card. I had an incident where when attempting to transfer a card, it drained the balance, but never added to the balance of the card I was transferring to. It took two weeks of emails with Disney to get it resolved.
IE does seem to work faster on their site than Chrome does, so I always use that to check. It is inside My Disney Experience, "My Reservations and Tickets". Look for "Remaining Balance" within the "Hotel Reservation" section. That's where it should show up. Then next to the remaining balance there is a link to make a payment. Edited: 7 years ago
If you are staying on-site you can add charging priviledges to your room card. You must give them a valid charge card (MC, Visa etc) to do this. You do not have to have the ability to charge on all of the persons on you reservation, only who you choose. If you currently have Disney gift cards, you can use them to pay towards your hotel bill.
You can also use a Disney Gift Card to make payments or pay your balance 45 days ahead or , for room only, at check in. For US residents in some areas we can get cards with discounts at Target, or get fuel points at some food stores.
5 years ago. You can pay off your magic band account with your gift cards. Take them to the front desk and they will apply them to your account. Just make sure you do it before midnight the night before you check out or they will automatically charge your credit card on file.
